About Klikku Design Studio
Klikku Design Studio was founded in 2013 in West Yorkshire, UK. The main idea of the Studio was to create a laboratory for working on the form. From the very beginning, I tried to make the designs in line with the purist design of modern architecture. The vast majority of all projects are hand-made by me, using only certified, top-quality materials. The fundamental and unchanging element of my work is wood – a completely natural, noble raw material that I can shape, create something beautiful and unique. Each of my projects is carefully refined – from the idea to the final touches.
Łukasz Wleklik
Before I made my first attempts to create by myself, I worked as a Creative Finishing Designer at Andy Thornton Architectural. Professional experience gained over the years in interior design of brands such as Hugo Boss, Vivienne Westwood, Dr. Martens, Happenstance, WeWork and hundreds of others resulted in the desire to create your own, completely independent project. A project where the freedom to define your own vision and aesthetics will not be disturbed by external factors. This is how the decision to open your own design studio with a workshop was born. Thanks to this, I have the opportunity to pursue my greatest passion, combining it with my professional work.
Eco-philosophy
Because we care about the environment, the materials used to make lamps and furniture are only solid European oak wood or black American walnut and steel. Both raw materials are 100% recyclable.
